The Story Behind Marie Lou

Marie Lou was my grandmother. She loved nothing more than an afternoon coffee with the people she cared about — making sure everyone felt welcome, comfortable, and loved.

As a child, my job was to brew the coffee in her old French press. I didn't know it then, but those afternoons shaped everything.

When she passed away while I was traveling through coffee-growing regions of Africa and Asia, I made a promise: to honor her by caring for others the way she did.

Marie Lou Coffee is that promise — exceptional coffee that puts farmers first, transparency above profit, and love into every cup.
